Why We Sponsored APMP BPC Nashville 2025
We sponsored APMP's largest conference because the proposal management community is exactly who contrl is built for. Nashville was our introduction.
TL;DR: Cliwant sponsored APMP BPC Nashville 2025 to introduce contrl directly to the proposal management community. The conversations there shaped our product roadmap.
Why APMP, why now
APMP's Bid & Proposal Con is the largest gathering of proposal professionals in the world. When you are building a product for bid teams, this is where you go to learn whether you are solving the right problems.
We did not sponsor BPC Nashville to sell. We sponsored it to listen. Our founder has 15 years in the bidding world, but the landscape is always shifting. APMP members represent every industry, every contract size, and every level of process maturity.

What we heard
The conversations at Nashville confirmed three things. First, proposal teams are drowning in manual PowerPoint assembly work. Second, most AI tools they have tried generate text but cannot produce a finished deliverable. Third, template fidelity is non-negotiable: your company's deck must look like your company's deck.
Every one of those pain points is exactly what contrl addresses. Upload your template, upload the RFP, get a complete first draft that preserves your formatting and addresses every requirement.
What comes next
Nashville was the beginning of our relationship with the APMP community. The feedback we collected is actively shaping contrl's feature roadmap. Multi-volume proposals, team collaboration workflows, and past-performance libraries are all on the horizon because APMP members told us they need them.
If you are in the APMP community and want to try contrl before the public launch, the closed beta is open.
