What the recognition means

Google's annual Yearbook highlights companies in their ecosystem that are pushing boundaries in AI application. Being featured is not something you apply for. It is a recognition based on the work your team has shipped.

For Cliwant, the spotlight was on our approach to AI-driven document automation. Specifically, our ability to preserve complex document structures (like PowerPoint templates) while generating intelligent, strategy-driven content. This is a technical challenge that most AI tools sidestep entirely.

The technical problem Google noticed

Most AI document tools generate content from scratch into generic templates. Cliwant solved the harder problem: reading an existing corporate template down to individual slide layouts and placeholders, understanding its structure, and filling it with content that respects every formatting constraint.

This is not glamorous work. But it is the difference between a tool that produces "a presentation about your topic" and a tool that produces "your company's proposal, in your template, addressing this specific RFP." Google recognized that distinction.
